Pickle Mocktail Margarita Recipe

Pickle Mocktail Margarita Recipe

Yes, guzzling down pickle brine is socially acceptable now, and there's a reason it's all the rage. Enjoy this light, reviving mocktail (or cocktail!) to restore your electrolytes, surprise your tastebuds, and reduce food waste. If that's not enough to convince you to try it, well... we get it. It sounds weird. But trust us, it's worth trying.

Ingredients

- 1/2 oz Vienna Kosher Dill Pickle brine

- 4-5 oz carbonated water

- 1 oz fresh squeezed lime

- 1/2 cup of ice

- 1 oz your liquor of choice (optional)

- Salt, sugar, or chili seasoning (optional, for the rim)

- Jalapeño pepper slices (optional, to garnish)

Instructions

1. Rub the rim of the glass with a fresh lime wedge and roll through salt (or seasoning of choice).

2. Combine pickle brine, lime juice, ice (and liquor, if you're opting) to a shaker and shake!

3. Pour over fresh ice in the salt-rimmed glass.

4. Top with carbonated water (we went for a lime flavored variation).

5. Garnish with lime, a jalapeño slice, and a pickle.
