Over the past two decades, Anthony Nardo and Nick Iozzo have honed their skills in the Hot Dog business around the South and Southwest Chicago suburbs with places like Maxwell Street Station, J-Town, Anthony’s, and Tony’s. The culmination of their experiences was the creation of Joey’s Red Hots in Orland Park, Illinois, which is already an iconic community landmark. Joey’s followed-up with additional Illinois locations in New Lenox, Morgan Park (Chicago) and Crest Hill.
Anthony and Nick are extraordinary foodservice ‘movers and shakers’ and have created a Hot Dog Stand with a buzz that brings out enthusiasm and excitement. Joey’s Red Hots features Vienna Beef Hot Dogs, Polish Sausage, Italian Beef, Pizza, and Gyros, front and center. Coupled with a rallying cry as local team sponsors and supporters of many charities, they have won both humanitarian and food quality awards over the years. Joey’s sports five food trucks serving the South and Southwest communities taking their great food and energy on the road for even more people to experience. Anthony and Nick know and appreciate that their entire staff is committed to their quality foodservice philosophy and have been up to the task of growing Joey’s strong community reputation.
As a result of Joey’s quality reputation and community involvement, Vienna Beef has chosen Joey’s Red Hots to be inducted into the Vienna Beef Hall of Fame. The Hot Dog Hall of Fame was created to honor foodservice operations that have achieved and developed into special neighborhood landmarks. Out of thousands of Vienna Beef customers over the years, we have recognized 136 nationwide since the award was inaugurated in 2006. The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame was created in 2006 to recognize loyal vendors that have become landmarks in their neighborhood through outstanding customer service, community leadership, operational longevity, philanthropic efforts, and devotion to quality operations.
