Ingredients
- 1 – 8 oz (225 g) package of Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 Cup – Chopped Vienna Kosher Pickle Spears
- 1 Clove of Garlic, smashed and finely chopped
- 1/4 Cup – Finely Chopped Shallot
- 1/2 tsp – Fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 TBSP – Pickle juice
- 1 tsp – Worcestershire
- Salt + Black Pepper to taste
- Place cream cheese in a bowl and add all ingredients.
- Blend with a wooden spoon or by hand if preferred until smooth and all ingredients thoroughly incorporated.
- Adjust salt and black pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate at least one hour before serving
Cajun Pickle Dip
The Cajun-inspired dip is good for Mardi Gras, Super Bowl, BBQs, and more! This recipe has a few more ingredients, but can offer plenty of substitutions, and seasoning can be adjusted based on preference. Packed with flavor with a slight build in heat as you eat.
Ingredients
- 1 – 8 oz (225 g) package of Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 Cup – Vienna Kosher Pickle Spears, chopped, packed
- 2 TBSP – Pickle juice
- 1 Clove of Garlic, smashed and finely chopped
- 1/4 Cup – Celery, finely chopped to a ¼”
- 1/4 Cup – Red Bell Pepper, finely chopped to a ¼”
- 2 TBSP – Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
- 1 TBSP – Louisiana Hot Sauce or similar
- 1 TBSP – ‘Slap Ya Mama’ Cajun Seasoning Original, or adjust to taste
- 1 TBSP – Worcestershire sauce
- Place cream cheese in a bowl and add all ingredients.
- Blend with a wooden spoon or by hand if preferred until smooth and all ingredients thoroughly incorporated.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate at least one hour for flavors to blend before serving.
Caramelized Onion Pickle Dip
For a completely different dip, this dip offers the tang of the pickle with a cheesy, sharp flavor, and a tinge of sweetness. Fairly simple to execute, but caramelized onions would need to be made prior to making this recipe. It is on the thicker side but thin at first and can be adjusted with the addition of more pickle juice without concern.
Ingredients
- 1 – 8 oz (225g) package of Cream Cheese, softened
- 3/4 Cup – Vienna Kosher Pickle Spears, chopped, packed
- 1/4 Cup – Pickle juice
- 1/2 Cup – Caramelized Onion, diced about ¼”
- 1/3 Cup – Grated Pecorino cheese (can substitute parmesan or similar cheese)
- 1 TBSP – Fresh Chives, chopped
- 1 Clove of Garlic, smashed and finely chopped
- Black Pepper to taste, Salt if needed but not recommended
- Place cream cheese in bowl and add all ingredients.
- Blend with a wooden spoon or by hand if preferred until smooth and all ingredients thoroughly incorporated.
- Allow dip to thicken for at least one hour in the refrigerator before serving.
